Were you the victim of former Wells Fargo Clearing Services, LLC broker Marcus Parker (CRD# 1031962)? Marcus Parker was registered with Wells Fargo Clearing Services, LLC in Santa Fe, New Mexico from 2008 to 2017.
Marcus Parker Barred by FINRA
In February 2018, FINRA barred Marcus Parker after he “consented to the sanction and to the entry of findings that he refused to respond to FINRA’s requests for documents and information in connection with its investigation of Parker’s termination from his member firm. The findings stated that according to the firm’s Form U5 termination filing, it terminated Parker’s registration for his failure to appear for an interview and the questioning about misappropriations from client accounts.”
Marcus Parker has been the subject of two customer complaints between 2008 and 2019, one of which was denied, according to his CRD report:
August 2019. “Plaintiff alleges that in 2017, FA made unauthorized transactions instead of managing the Plaintiff’s assets as expected.” The case is currently pending. The complaint took place while Parker was registered with Wells Fargo.
Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Wells Fargo Clearing Services, LLC may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Marcus Parker’s customers.
