March 2020. “Claimant alleges that the registered representative recommended unsuitable investments.” The case is currently pending. The complaint was regarding real estate securities.
March 2019. “Claimant alleges that the registered representative recommended unsuitable investments.” The customer is seeking $5,000 in damages. The complaint was regarding real estate securities.
August 2018. “The clients allege unsuitability, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, elder financial abuse.” The case was settled for $15,000. The complaint was regarding real estate securities and BDCA.
Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Cetera Investment Services LLC may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Clara Tang’s customers.
