January 2022. “The Statement of Claim alleges the client was overconcentrated in alternative investments, annuities and life insurance policies and as a result, has lost a significant amount of money.” The case is currently pending. The complaint took place while he was registered with Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. and was regarding insurance and real estate securities.
Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, J.W. Cole Financial, Inc. may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Vincent Mastrovito’s customers.
