Weaver has been the subject of three customer complaints between 2000 and 2018, one of which was denied, according to his CRD report:
- October 2018. “Plaintiff alleges that her former advisor failed to fully discuss who she intended as her beneficiaries and made mistakes when filling out the beneficiary designations on her accounts.” The customer is seeking $400,000 in damages and the case is currently pending.
- July 2001. “Client alleges that investments purchased in account were unsuitable, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, negligence and violation of mass gen. L.C. Chapter 93a.” The customer sought $110,100 in damages and the case was settled for $35,000. This case is regarding common and preferred stocks.
