March 2022. “Customer complaint alleging misrepresentation of investment.” The case was settled for $607,856. The complaint was related to UIT losses.
September 2020. “Client alleges that he indicated to the representative that his primary concern was safety of principal.” The case was settled for $267,979.69. The complaint was related to UIT losses.
Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, BB&T Securities, LLC may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Emilio Guajardo Jr.’s customers.
