In October 2014, FINRA sanctioned him to pay a $6,612.26 monetary penalty and suspended him for 1.5 years related to allegations that he “failed to comply with an arbitration award or settlement agreement or to satisfactorily respond to a FINRA request to provide information concerning the status of compliance.”
Jason Walsh Customer Complaints
He has been the subject of two customer complaints between 2012 and 2023, according to his CRD report:
April 2023. “The customers allege that the Registered Representative misrepresented speculative, high-risk investments. No specific dates for the alleged activity were identified/noted in the Statement of Claim.” The customer is seeking $100,000 in damages, and the case is currently pending. The complaint was regarding real estate securities and equipment leasing investment losses, and it took place while he was registered with Centaurus Financial, Inc.
Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Centaurus Financial, Inc. may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Jason Walsh’s customers.
