Former Park Avenue Securities LLC broker William Bennett (CRD# 5334350) was recently terminated related to outside business activities.
He was registered with Park Avenue Securities LLC in Tulsa, Oklahoma, from 2020 to 2024, when he was terminated regarding, “RR Violated The Firm’s Policies By Facilitating Outside Investments Not Approved By The Firm.” Previously, he was registered with PFS Investments Inc. in Owasso, Oklahoma, from 2007 to 2020.
He has not been the subject of any customer complaints to date, but the terms of his termination might indicate that he engaged in outside business activities that were not approved by his member firm, a practice also known as selling away.
Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Park Avenue Securities LLC may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by William Bennett’s customers.
