Erez Law is currently investigating former Wells Fargo broker Kenneth Maring (CRD# 1500005) regarding unsuitable investment recommendations. He was registered with Morgan Stanley in San Rafael, California, from 2017 to 2024, and Wells Fargo Clearing Services, LLC in San Rafael, California, from 2008 to 2017.

In July 1989, the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. sanctioned him to pay a $500 monetary fine following allegations that he “forged the signature of a customer to an account transfer form and submitted the form to his employer-member.”

In February 1991, the Florida Division of Securities and Investor Protect issued a stipulation and consent agreement providing the department agrees to withdraw its letter of intent to deny his application for registration as an associated person of Dean Witter Reynolds, Inc. and he agrees to withdraw his application for registration as an associated person of the firm, and agrees not to apply for any registration with the state of Florida for a period of one year.

Kenneth Maring Customer Complaints

He has been the subject of one customer complaint, according to his CRD report:

June 2024. “Beginning in 2014, Claimants allege their Financial Advisors (FA) made unsuitable investment recommendations with regard to their long-term objectives and risk tolerance causing Claimants to suffer significant losses.” The case is currently pending. The complaint took place while he was registered with Wells Fargo.

Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Wells Fargo may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Kenneth Maring’s customers.
