Michael Rapaport is an associate with Erez Law and concentrates his practice on securities litigation and arbitration. Michael was born in Brooklyn, New York and graduated from the Florida State University with both a Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science in Information Studies. Prior to enrolling in law school, Mr. Rapaport first worked as a staffing specialist with Bank of America while working as a freelance web and graphic designer. In the fall of 2005, Michael begin taking night classes at Florida International University’s College of Law while working full-time as a law clerk with a high volume criminal and family law firm in North Miami Beach, Florida. Additionally, Mr. Rapaport clerked part-time for a sole practitioner handling criminal and family matters in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties and was a certified legal intern for the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office. Mr. Rapaport received his Juris Doctor from FIU’s College of Law in May 2008 and subsequently begun his legal career working with Jeffrey Erez shortly after taking the bar exam, first as a law clerk, then as an associate upon admission to the Florida Bar.
Mr. Rapaport is an integral part of the Erez Law legal team. He has served as second chair in over a dozen final hearings or trials and works tirelessly to assist Erez Law in its pre-trial and trial work. Mr. Rapaport also works closely with clients in the discovery process of cases.
