Diamond has been registered with Dempsey Lord Smith, LLC in Jacksonville, Florida since September 2018. Previously, Diamond was registered with Kalos Capital, Inc. in Jacksonville, Florida from 2013 to 2018.
Diamond has been the subject of four customer complaints between 2009 and 2020, one of which was closed without action and one was denied, according to his CRD report:
- January 2020. “Unsuitable investments.” The customer is seeking $200,000 in damages and the case is currently pending. The complaint took place while Diamond was registered with Kalos Capital, Inc. and was regarding alternative investments.
- May 2017. “The clients are alleging that the investments that they purchased in 2011/2012 were not appropriate for their stated investment goals.” The case was settled for $50,000. The complaint took place while Diamond was registered with Berthel Fisher & Company Financial Services, Inc.
Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Kalos Capital, Inc. may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Diamond’s customers.
