Previously, he was registered with Raymond James & Associates, Inc. in Weston, Florida from 2016 to 2022, when he was terminated regarding, “individual was discharged for violating the firm’s internal policy governing selling away.”
Brent Greninger Customer Complaints
He has been the subject of one customer complaint, according to his CRD report:
September 2021. “Claimants allege that FA recommended an unsuitable and unapproved outside private investment and also improperly recommended that Claimants fund the investment using margin.” The customer sought $500,000 in damages and the case was settled for $150,000. The complaint was regarding selling away, non-broker-dealer affiliate product, direct investments, private securities, and margin/stock loans.
Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Raymond James & Associates, Inc. may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Brent Greninger’s customers.
