Erez Law is currently investigating Wells Fargo broker Bryan Benson (CRD# 807506) regarding unsuitable investments. Benson has been registered with Wells Fargo Clearing Services, LLC in Tucson, Arizona since 2007.

In April 2020, Benson was barred by FINRA after he consented to the sanction and to the entry of findings that he refused to provide information and documents that were requested by FINRA in connection with an investigation into an investment-related customer complaint.

Benson has been the subject of two customer complaints between 2017 and 2019, according to his CRD report:

April 2017. “Clients alleged unsuitable investments. (6/30/2016).” The customer sought $1,289,028.11 in damages and the case was settled for $415,000. This case was regarding direct investments.

Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Wells Fargo may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Benson’s customers.
