Claimant alleges suitability, churning, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, unauthorized trading, negligence, misrepresentation, omission of material facts.” The customer is seeking $139,224 in damages, and the case is currently pending. The complaint took place while he was registered with Aegis Capital Corp.
June 2021. “Time frame: 07/01/2015 – present. Suitability.” The customer sought $22,637.36 in damages, and the case was settled for $9,999. The complaint took place while he was registered with Aegis Capital Corp., and it was regarding corporate debt.
Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Aegis Capital Corp. may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Bryan Lubitz’s customers.
