January 2021. “Claim alleges breach of fiduciary duty, unsuitable recommendations, fraudulent or negligent misrepresentations or omissions, and violation of FINRA Rules 2010 and 2020, in connection with investments made in 2013-2018.” The customer is seeking $457,000 in damages and the case is currently pending. The complaint is regarding direct investments and LP interests. The complaint took place while Michaletz was registered with Concorde Investment Services, LLC and Triad Advisors, Inc.
Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Dai Securities, LLC may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Michaletz’s customers.
