Pan has been registered with Coastal Equities, Inc. in York, Pennsylvania since May 2019. Previously, Pan was registered with Axiom Capital Management, Inc. in New York, New York from November 2018 to May 2019 and previously with International Assets Advisory, LLC in Cary, Illinois from 2014 to 2018.
Pan has been the subject of three customer complaints in 2019, one of which was withdrawn, according to his CRD report:
November 2019. “Breach of fiduciary duty and negligence.” The customer is seeking $125,000 in damages and the case is currently pending. The complaint took place while Pan was registered with International Assets Advisory, LLC and was regarding direct investments.
September 2019. “Negligence/suitability, breach of fiduciary duty, failure to supervise.” The customer is seeking $90,000 in damages and the case is currently pending. The complaint took place while Pan was registered with Berthel Fisher and Company Financial Services, Inc. & International Assets Advisory, LLC and was regarding direct investments and real estate securities.
Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Pan’s former employers may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Pan’s customers.
