In November 2020, FINRA barred Alhadeff after he, “consented to the sanction and to the entry of findings that he, through counsel, informed FINRA that he would not provide information and documents requested by FINRA in connection with its investigation into a registered representative who was supervised by Alhadeff.”
Alhadeff has been the subject of one customer complaint, according to his CRD report:
August 2019. “Breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, breach of contract.” The customer is seeking $750,000 in damages and the case is currently pending. The complaint took place while Alhadeff was registered with National Securities Corp. and was regarding equity OTC, common and preferred stocks, and real estate securities.
Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, National Securities Corporation may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Alhadeff’s customers.
