Faherty has been the subject of two customer complaints between 2016 and 2021, one of which was denied, according to his CRD report:
March 2021. “Claimant’s allege that Mr. Faherty recommended an investment product that was unsuitable.” The customer is seeking $100,000 in damages and the case is currently pending. The complaint is regarding real estate investment losses and the complaint took place while Faherty was registered with Royal Alliance Associates, Inc.
Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Royal Alliance Associates, Inc. may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Faherty’s customers.
