Former Morgan Stanley Broker Kirk Crossen Investment Loss Options

Erez Law is currently investigating former Morgan Stanley broker Kirk Crossen (CRD# 2742256) regarding unsuitable investment recommendations. He was with Raymond James & Associates, Inc. in Carmel, Indiana, from April to November 2023, when he was terminated regarding, “Individual alleged to have lacked candor during inquiry into loan from the individuals’ former client at prior firm.” Previously, he was registered with Morgan Stanley in Indianapolis, Indiana, from 2016 to 2023.

Kirk Crossen Customer Complaints

He has been the subject of one customer complaint, according to his CRD report:

October 2023. “Claimant alleged, inter alia, that the investments strategy executed in the client’s account was unsuitable 2022-2023.” The customer is seeking $6,000,000 in damages, and the case is currently pending. The complaint was regarding stock losses, self-directed fee-based accounts, and a non-broker deal affiliated product.

Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Morgan Stanley may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Kirk Crossen’s customers.
