May 2023. “Statement of Claim alleges an investment recommendation was made for the purpose of generating high commissions and fees and that Claimants were deprived of the ability to generate reasonable returns that would have been received in a diversified portfolio.” The case is currently pending. The complaint was regarding direct investments and oil and gas securities losses.
December 2021. “The Statement of Claim alleges the financial professional recommended investments that were not suitable for the Claimants.” The customer sought $125,000 in damages, and the case was settled for $67,500. The complaint was regarding direct investments and real estate security losses.
