Erez Law is currently investigating former Pruco Securities, LLC broker Mark Carter (CRD# 6392736) regarding unauthorized trading. He was registered with Pruco Securities, LLC in Charlotte, North Carolina, from 2014 to 2024, when he was terminated regarding, “Registered Representative self-disclosed to the firm that he had engaged in excessive unauthorized discretionary trading in client accounts which resulted in excessive losses to the clients. In addition, RR admitted to incorrectly submitting trade orders as “unsolicited.”
Mark Carter Customer Complaints
He has been the subject of one customer complaint, according to his CRD report:
April 2024. “Customer alleges the rep engaged in unauthorized trading from around April to December of 2023. Allegation/complaint is the result of advisor’s self-disclosure of these trades to the firm and client several months prior.” The customer sought $500,000 in damages, and the case was settled for $672,038.58.
Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Pruco Securities, LLC may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Mark Carter’s customers.
