Sitter has been registered with KCD Financial, Inc. in Shenandoah, Texas since 2019. Previously, Sitter was registered with Capital Financial Services, Inc. in Shenandoah, Texas from 2006 to 2019.
Sitter has been the subject of six customer complaints between 2001 and 2019, two of which were closed without action, according to his CRD report. The most recent complaints are regarding:
- March 2019. “Client Alleges Misrepresentation, Breach of Fiduciary Duty, Failure to Supervise.” The customer is seeking $500,000 in damages and the case is currently pending. The complaint was regarding real estate securities and variable annuities and took place while Sitter was registered with Capital Financial Services, Inc.
- December 2017. “Client alleging the representative misrepresented the nature of an investment suitable for a portfolio.” The customer sought $100,000 in damages and the case was settled for $72,000. The complaint was regarding real estate securities and took place while Sitter was registered with Capital Financial Services, Inc.
Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Capital Financial Services, Inc. may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Sitter’s customers.
