Stuckey has been registered with Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. in Suwanee, Georgia since January 2018. Previously, he was registered with Invest Financial Corporation in Suwanee, Georgia from 2009 to 2018.
Stuckey has been the subject of five customer complaints between 2008 and 2018, one of which was denied and one was closed without action, according to his CRD report:
- May 2018. “Client alleges RR recommended unsuitable investments, misrepresented features of the investments and failed to disclose risks in the investments.” The customer is seeking $220,000 in damages and the case is currently pending.
- January 2018. “Client alleges subaccount assets were placed in high risk funds which are not suitable.” The customer sought $79,000 in damages and the case was settled for $25,000.
- June 2016. “Claimant alleges RR concentrated claimant’s portfolio into three (3) energy sector investments. In addition, RR used an inappropriate market timing strategy in claimant’s accounts.” The customer sought $42,835 in damages and the case was settled for $14,750.
Pursuant to FINRA Rules, member firms are responsible for supervising a broker’s activities during the time the broker is registered with the firm. Therefore, Invest Financial Corporation may be liable for investment or other losses suffered by Stuckey’s customers.
